City Opera Ballet opens Bellevue's 2015 Holiday Season with the ballet oratorio of Handel's MESSIAH staged by Guest Artistic Director/Choreographer, Sayoko Knode, on Thanksgiving weekend.

In this most famous and beautiful work, Music Director/Conductor Laureate, Philip Tschopp, draws audience and performers into George Frideric Handel's full range of emotions from the humble Nativity to Christ's glorification in Heaven. A treasure to behold, this exclusive MESSIAH with voice, orchestra and ballet, celebrates the newly remodeled Theatre at Meydenbauer Center in downtown Bellevue.

Inspired by the model of the Paris Opera Ballet, Ballet Bellevue with its orchestra has expanded the company's mission to create Bellevue's new CITY OPERA BALLET featuring Ballet Bellevue, Orchestra Bellevue and Bellevue City Opera.
