Event Description

Learn to use Photoshop to resolve problems in your art. Learn ways to change your image so that you can go back into the studio with fresh ideas for making your art sing.

Laptops with Photoshop will be provided for each student.

This workshop will cover an array of Photoshop skills and tools including an overview of the application layout and structure, adjusting colors and values, and moving and

resizing shapes. Students will also learn about:
The tool bar
The lasso, magic wand, and color selector tools
The paint bucket and eye dropper tools
The skew tool
The pencil tool
The layer tool
Cropping, coloring, cutting, and pasting
Importing, saving, printing, and exporting

Difficulty: beginning, beginner, novice, first-time student, first time student, intermediate, continuing, returning
