More schedule information: We will learn the process of acquiring apartment buildings at upcoming Seattle REIA meetings. Topics will include Due Diligence, Legal Due Diligence, Underwriting, Financing and more as we continue on the path to passive income. Register for 05/24/18, 07/26/18, 09/27/18 and 11/15/18 at REIAwa.com!
Join REIA in welcoming Alison West, fellow REIA Member, active single and multi-family investor and principal of Agile Property Management, LLC, for a talk on How to Get Started in Multi-Family Investing.
Owning apartment buildings of any size is unlike owning single family houses in many ways. It takes more of a down payment to acquire, is bought at a much lower price per door, can yield appreciation or cash flow that houses simply cannot rival and can continue to provide cash flow even if one or more units are vacant.
Add a management team to the mix that makes the building run successfully without your perpetual direct involvement - including the occasional hot water tanks, toilets, etc. in need of repair, typically at the worst possible time in your schedule - and you can have passive income source that is well worth the effort it takes to learn the apartment game, amass the down payment funds and acquire a multi-family property.
We will work through the process of acquiring apartment buildings over the next several Seattle REIA meetings. We'll cover How to Get Started in Multi-Family Investing this month, Due Diligence at the next meeting, Legal Due Diligence at the next meeting and continue on the path to passive income as the year progresses!
