Event Description

‘Make do and mend’ is an old British war-time refrain but I truly think a garment that has been lovingly mended using visible techniques is better than it was brand new.

This is a 6-hour class. Helen will provide instruction for 3 different types of visible mending – darning, needle felting and boro patching. Bring your moth-holed sweaters and socks and give them a new life! Materials provided for darning, felting and patching. If you don’t have anything to bring, you can use scrap fabric provided.

CLASS DATE: 5/7

Time: 12:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Price: $160

MAX CAPACITY: 10 people

MINIMUM: 5 people
